Fantastic cottage on quiet lake. Rating: 5/5
My family vacationed at SunnyDaze in August 2018. There were 3 adults and 4 children and this cottage was so spacious that we did not feel crowded at all. It is well located on a peaceful lake and only about 10 minutes from town so it was easy to go pick up any groceries if we ran out. The cottage itself was extremely clean and all of the amenities stated by the owner were there and in excellent condition. There was even a welcome package when we arrived which was a nice way to start off our vacation! During our visit the owners checked in just to make sure that everything was in working order and that we were enjoying ourselves which we really appreciated. I would definitely rent this cottage again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

We found the “Sunny Daze” country home to be well appointed and very well maintained. The lake was excellent for swimming, boating, fishing and watching spectacular sunsets! We had many barbecues and glasses of wine on the wonderful deck over looking the lake. Our week was spectacular and we look forward to returning next year!

The cottage offers a relaxing atmosphere with all the amenities you need and more. The cottage was clean and well maintained. The screened gazebo was the ideal place to spend the evenings without being bothered by the mosquitos. The game room was also a nice bonus to keep everyone entertained in the evening as there was a fire ban during our stay. Lastly, the owners are great people. They are very friendly, responded quickly to our questions and requests. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage to our friends and family.

Best welcome ever!
Easy to find thanks to fantastic directions and the parking and space at the boat launch made things very easy. Although there was tons of parking at the launch we had no problem storing the trailer in the driveway as well as our two vehicles. The pictures of the cottage on line didn’t really do it justice and our first impressions of the property were very high. The cold beverages waiting were a very nice touch. The main cottage has a beautiful blend of traditional cozy and modern spacious. Given the amazing weather we mostly lived outside and the deck is well kitted out with plenty of seating and spectacular views. The screened in porch made for wonderful bug free evenings playing cards and listening to loons. The dock was the highlight for me. Deep, clean water, plenty of space for docking the boat, swimming, sunbathing and fishing. Perfect amount of daytime sun well into the evening meant that we were swimming and Lilly padding well into the evening. The games room is an excellent addition to the options and although we wish we’d made more use of it we simply didn’t have the time as the dock and the deck stole all of our time. The lake is one of the nicest we’ve stayed on. Most properties are well hidden in the trees giving it a very quiet feel. Tons of water to explore and great fishing.
Many of my highlights for summer 2018 were forged there.

Our stay here was excellent. This cottage is extremely comfortable and very clean. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with all the dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and everything you might need. We never got tired of the beautiful views from the large deck and screen room, or the stunning sunsets from the dock. The lake is great for swimming and water activities due to the crystal clear water. It's a short drive to Haliburton which is very convenient for grocery stores, a drug store, and restaurants, but far enough away for the peace and serenity. The owners are very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely look forward to going back.

Sunny Daze is truly paradise. The cottage is spacious but cozy. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with everything you would need to make cooking and storage easy. High end cookware was an added surprise, which is rare in a rental property. The views are spectacular, particularly from the massive master suite which feels like a private retreat of it's own. The lake is calm and quiet, deep but warm, and the perfect size for water sports but not too big that you ever feel disoriented. No photos could ever do justice to this gem!
